Wrexham Standings Top by Beating Notts County

Wrexham beat Notts County 3-2 to seal a thrilling end-to-end National League top spot.

This result takes Wrexham to 103 points with a game in hand with Notts County, who are on 100 points.

John Bostock put Notts County 1-0 up in first-half injury time with a stunning goal direct from a free kick, before Paul Mullin equalized for Wrexham early in the second half.

Jacob Mendy's start for the Welsh club in the 69th minute and scored three goals in a breathless ten minutes.

Cameron pulled over for Notts County after six minutes, before Elliott Lee put Wrexham ahead again.

Wrexham were penalized for handball in injury time, but Ben Foster produced a huge save from Sedwin Scott.

Wrexham are back at the top of the league. They now need just seven points from their last four games to secure promotion.

It's a big blow for Notts. Now it looks like they will have to rely on the playoffs.
